3rd Meeting of TRUTH project in Patras 19/3/2015
The 3rd meeting of the European Project TRUTH was held during the 12th-13th of February 2015 in Patras. TRUTH Project addresses the serious issue of Human Trafficking in Europe.

The Project aims to raise awareness and inform social care professionals who come in contact with victims of human trafficking. During the project, professionals from the field of social welfare coming from all the partner countries watched a pilot course created by Sheffield College. This pilot course contained sections concerning better knowledge of human trafficking, ways of recognizing human trafficking, victims’ profiles and perpetrators’ profiles, dealing with human trafficking etc.
During this meeting the representatives of each partner discussed about the progress of the project so far and about the future plans including the final conference that will be held on September 2015 at Sheffield, England.
The European project entitled: TRUTH (Training for Raising Awareness and Understanding about the Trafficking of Humans in Europe) is cofunded by the Lifelong Learning Programme (Leonardo Da Vinci - Transfer of Innovation). Involved are five partners from 4 countries (UK, Italy, Romania, Greece). In this partnership Greece is represented by Frontida Zois Ltd.
