Frontida Zois cooperates with the Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Immunology, Univesity of Patras 4/7/2013
In April 2013 Frontida Zois, in the process of continuous improvement of its services, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Immunology, Department of Pharmacy, University of Patras. Within this cooperation a specific device will be used to support patients with chronic/acids ulcers, burns, postoperative wounds. This device is based on WMCS (Wireless Micro Current Stimulation) technology, which is an innovative technology for electrical stimulation of wounds.
This technology is based on the transfer of electrical loads from a distance, which restore the so-called ”current of injury” that may have stopped and accelerate the healing process, reducing pain associated directly with the trauma. Responsible for this innovative application is Assist. Prof. Konstantinos Poulas.
