Ismir - Equip II 9/6/2012
Meeting for the EQUIP II program in Ismir from 5 to 8 June 2012.
Frontida Zois Ltd, the first company in Greece that specializes in home care for elderly and disabled people in Greece, participates as a partner within the European Lifelong Learning Programme Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation: EQUIP II (European Education , Competences and Qualifications in Home Care for Older People).

In the program involved are organizations from the Balkan countries (Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria) and Northern Europe (Finland). More specifically: TurkuVocational Institute (Finland), Turku University of Applied Sciences (Finland), EGE University (Turkey), EE Life Care (Greece), Personnel Consult "GPopov" (Bulgaria). The project started in October 2010 and ends on September 30, 2012.
The EQUIP II program aims to extend the comparison of qualifications of care and training in the area of home care in Bulgaria, Turkey and Greece. The task of comparison is implemented through the use of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and the European System Credit for Vocational Education and Training (ECVT).
From 5 to 8 June 5 was held the fifth transnational meeting of the project, in Ismir, Turkey, where the parthners had the opportunity to analyze all the results generated by this phase of the project and to make a substantive discussion on the final effect of this work on the improvement of the current situation in the field of home care in the countries participating in EQUIP II.
We renewed our appointment for 6 to 8 September 2012 in Turku, Finland, where the last meeting for this program will take place.
