Participation of Frontida Zois in meeting regarding tackle of Alzheimer
“Frontida Zois” Ltd, the first private (SME) company in Greece that specializes in home care for elderly and disabled people, participates as a partner within the European Lifelong Learning Programme Leonardo da Vinci-Partnerships: "Training for Alzheimer through Europe (TACT Europe)” funded by the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY). In the program also involved are the training provider Gip Agevif Formation of Poitiers in France, the organisation Fatronik from Creteil, France, the College of Nursing Vysoka Skola Zdravotnicka from the Czech Republic and the network of social enterprises Consorzio Cooparetive Sociali from Italy.
The subject of the program TACT-Europe is: the continuing education for carers of elderly people suffering from Alzheimer and other dementias as well as for professionals in the health sector working with this target group.


From 26 to 28 September 2012 was held in Patras, at Patras Palace hotel, the third meeting under the program and provided the opportunity for all participants to share useful insights and suggest preventive policies to tackle the problem of dementia, that is increasing in most countries of the European Union.
Also, each organisation/country presented the corresponding situation on the field of tackling dementia and how could health professionals dealing with such patients prevent through various training methods the burnout syndrome.
The next appointment of the partners has been decided to be held on April 2013 in Abruzzo, Italy.
